Theo on a roof in Soho

Theo Delaney has made ads and digital content all over the world for numerous brands and organisations.

His work has been recognised at The Cannes International Advertising Festival, D&AD Awards, British Television Advertising Awards, Sports Business Awards and Creative Circle among many others.

In 2017 he was the creative director of the widely lauded White Hart Lane Finale show that marked Tottenham Hotspur's move from their home of 118 years.

He began his career as a journalist writing for publications like FHM, The Guardian, Campaign and Creative Review. He was the News Editor of Direction Magazine at the age of 21.

Through his writing he met the director Tony Kaye who gave him his first break as a director and after spells at Spots and Tomboy Films he set up commercials company Hotspur and Argyle.

As well as hundreds of TV commercials, Theo has devised and executed a range of digital content across web and mobile platforms for clients like O2, The Football Association, Toyota, Betfair and Coca Cola. He made the two hour documentary 'Cantona Speaks' for Manchester United and the award winning short film 'The Call'.

He brings the same energy and passion whether joining a project as a writer/creative director or being handed a ready-to-film storyboard.

And he can bring a full production team with him or slot in to an existing set up.

He continues to write articles, fronts the ‘Life Goals with Theo Delaney’ podcast, is a regular presenter on ‘The Spurs Show’ and plays music on ‘The Jonny Friendly Radio Show'.
